Despite the very snowing conditions, we were able to make it over to Spokane for Christmas this year! We thought there was a lot of snow in Tacoma but Spokane had 3 to 4 feet! Anyways, we were very excited to be able to have the whole family together for the first time in a couple of Christmases. Here are just a few of the pictures from Christmas Day.

Ella with Santa!

This is Ella's first time meeting Santa, and she really liked him! I wish the clarity of this pic was better but oh well you can get the idea!

We just couldn't resist getting Ella all bundled up in her winter clothes and going for a short (very short) walk in the first snow!

As You can see I am a much better photographer than Jon is!

Jon did an excellent job decorating our house with lights this year! The photograph does it no justice at all!

What was I saying about being a good photographer? . . . I had the toughest time trying to get Ella to stay still long enough for a good shot. So these are the best I could do!

This one, however, is my favorite b/c we were changing her and just loved that her tights made her little belly pudge out! She looks like a chubby little ballerina, so cute! (Beans - don't hate me when your all grown up for saying that!)

Halloween 08!

This year for Halloween we headed over to the Hansen's for some delicious chili and corn bread! It's one of the first years that we didn't partake in the costumes or witches brew but we had a lot of fun anyways! Somehow we managed to not take any pictures of our gracious hosts (self centered much?)! I guess that is what happens when you have a baby. Or maybe it was because Carly was sporting a pretty sweet black eye courtesy of "baby cat?!" If you can't tell Ella was a pee pod this year. I don't think she really appreciated being stuffed into a green, fuzzy sleeping bag but as usual she didn't complain all that much. Oh and we discovered that she is fascinated by starbucks halloween stuffed animals. So she loves Starbucks, now the real test is Nordstrom. I'll keep you posted!
